“We
have an understanding more and more of who the Savior is and what He’s all
about and it brings the message home everytime we have to let go & let God
take over. We realize how powerless
our decisions really are when we understand life is only in His grace and tender
Mercy. It hurts to let go, but
there is a time appointed for all of us. It never makes it easier to say Good-
Bye. Just understand we need to say it; with love, Christ-like love, and I know
God will shower you with strength and His love, peace and serenity to sustain
you in your time of need.
I
will pray for this and that God’s will be done. I know acceptance is a key of where we are at and I know now
what it means to let go. There is a
Scripture in the Old Testament that says, we must go through sorrow that we may
know joy. May the sorrow be short
and the blessings of love, quick to come. God Bless you… Davida”

The AC office is keeping busy answering phones, email, mail and making literature and workbooks. The demand is getting greater . We are really beginning to reach out to the rest of the world. At this time AC has more out of state groups then we do in MI> Praise the Lord.

We are beginning to get more and more interests in the office from folks who speak in Spanish. If you know of someone that can help in translation of some of these letters or would be interested in translating our materials call us at the office. 1-800-441-7877
Have you ever been broken by grief, seperation, divorce, illness, stress, or disappointment in life? Our ministry addresses working the scripture in steps to help us heal from abuse, drugs, sexual addictions, codependency ( enabling those we love to manipulate, and control us) and setting no boundaries, because we didn’t have enough boundaries in childhood. Maybe we didn’t have God in our life maybe we had secrets in our life. God wants us to use the steps to work on all our relationships and heal our hurts so that He can renew our mind and spirit.
I have been coping with physical disease and not long ago wrote in my journal how God was speaking to me by scripture and in my pain to my spirit. These are the words I wrote.
Yesterday, (my pasthurts) my vessel(body & soul) was “prim and proper,” But unusable. Then God, the master Potter, molded me into more usable condition. It wasn’t a lovely sight, as Heworked on patience; my vessel hardened and would not be molded, then it cracked and couldn’t be used at all. He (the Potter) slammed my vessel down and started over. There was no shape, my vessel became soft and pliable. Then I gave in and let the Master shape me. I was usable He gave me joy! He put me through firing and is still working on me. I was ready to server others for His purposes because my inner soul let Him work on my vessel.
As I look at other vessels, just sitting pretty or worn thin. I’m reminded how the Potter is working his way with each vessel for His purpose. Some Vessels are broken. God loves each, but He can only do what the vessel will allow Him to do. Some have an empty vessel, some don’t know why they don’t feel God’s love for them, they have been broken and don’t know God’s touch. They really want to know how to fill their vessel, but anger, hurt, addiction, and crisis prevent them to give over their vessel to the one who created them. They may come to Him , but only give Him a part of their vessel and fill the vessel up with other “things” instead of letting God mold them into what HE planned for them. Usable vessels finally get to know the Master because they are willing to let God fill the whole vessel. That means giving all over to Him; admitting we are unable without Jesus and Scriptures, to start to heal the hurts and take away the masks we hide behind. Most people in church have been or are in brokenness and they are the ones God wants our ministry to address. When they can heal their brokenness, through working the Scriptures and steps. They are more able to become more faithful to their own convictions in other ministries. Shirley Ray OH Group Leader.
